¡Hola! Me llamo Señorita Kelly. (My name is Ms. Kelly.)

I am excited & honored to be your child's Spanish teacher this year. I’ve previously taught at Berkshire, BCS, Beverly, Harlan & West Maple, & graduated from Oakland University in May of 2010. I’m currently working on a master’s degree at Oakland in both School & Mental Health Counseling, & I am fortunate to have almost 8 years of teaching experience (including both student & substitute teaching), plus some stories to tell from having been to several Spanish-speaking countries. I look forward to sharing my experiences & love for the language & culture with your child, & also learning from their experiences & insights.

Outside of Spanish & teaching, I enjoy outdoor sports including snowboarding & biking. I go ice skating from time to time, having been a figure skater throughout both my middle & high school years. I have 3 brothers, 1 sister-in-law, & I love my family! I enjoy watching the Detroit Tigers, the Red Wings, & the Wolverines vs. the Spartans! :-)

Gracias for your time, & for partnering with me to help your child succeed in Spanish class.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me at anytime. I can most easily be contacted via email: kkelly@birmingham.k12.mi.us

Gracias,
Srta. Kelly
